						The AMERICAN OWNERS of LIVERPOOL F.C. George Gillett and Tom Hicks Tom Hicks also owns Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers and the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars. George Gillett is owner of the Montreal Canadiens ice hockey team. George Gillett and Tom Hicks bought the Reds during the 2006/2007 EPL soccer season. Mr. Gillett and Mr.Hicks have been instrumental in creating the unique and futuristic design of the new Anfield stadium. They have made the KOP the focus of the new stadium, appreciating its great history and influence during games - the 12th. man.
